Ryhmäteatteri's stage adaptation of Alice in Wonderland is based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass.
The play explores the search for one’s true self, the courage to be vulnerable, and the bravery to ask for help when feeling lost or emotionally tangled.
A central theme is also the concern over halting climate change. The play also plays with the inventions and imagery of 19th-century steam technology, in a steampunk style.
